The ultimate goal of marketing is to make information stick in the minds of your target market. People take in information differently, and learn differently.
Visual learners prefer to use images, colors, pictures, and maps to organize information and communicate with others. Auditory learners; would rather listen to things being explained than read about them. There is another type of learner out there as well…Kinesthetic. They process information best through “hands-on” experience.
I’ve learned through the years to rely on a vast array of marketing tools in order to speak to every type of learner.
For instance, for the visual crowd make sure you have a couple infographics and videos to explain your products. For the auditories try some podcasts, phone calls and group discussions. For the kinesthetic; interactive demos, apps, surveys, games and try before your buy programs.
What type of learner are you?
